Mexico city, once called Tenochtitlan which sprals over the now drained lake Texcoco resting in the Valley of AnĂ¡huac with its 8,836,045 million inhabitants is one of the worlds largest cities and one of the worlds blackest spots for crime. Cortes came with a lust for gold and power and now the Mexican cartels seek the same goals as the Consquistidors through drugs and murder.
